Keys

Everything in ComposerFlex can be done with the mouse. These keys are shortcuts for those who prefer the keyboard.

Anywhere in the window

• F5: Start. F6: Stop.
• F1: the Help tab. F2: Ingredients. F3: Phrases. F4: Recent seeds. F7: Song Library. F8: Archive.
• Ctrl+PageDown and Ctrl+PageUp: go to the next or previous tab.
• Tab and Shift+Tab: move to the next or previous control.
• Enter or Space: click a button, tick a box, or open a list.
• Ctrl+V: paste into the seed box, a name, rating or note box, or the license box.
• Ctrl+Q: quit ComposerFlex. If you have changes that aren't saved, it asks you first.

In a number box

• ↑ and ↓: change the number by 1 (Minutes by half a minute).
• Or type a number and press Enter.

In the list of ingredients

• ↑ and ↓, PageUp and PageDown, Home and End: choose a row.
• Space: turn the row on or off.
• Delete: delete the row.
• Ctrl+↑ and Ctrl+↓: move the row up or down.
• M, S, F, O and E: type a new Mix, Str, From, Song % or Energy.
• + and -: Mix up or down by 5.
• ] and [: Str up or down by 5.
• P: choose the Player. H: choose the Phrases.

In the panel of ingredients

• The arrow keys move through the ingredients and show each one's description.
• Enter adds the highlighted ingredient after the last row, above the last three rows.

In lists that open

• The arrow keys, PageUp and PageDown, Home and End: move through the list. The group headings are skipped.
• Type a letter to jump to the next entry that starts with it.
• Enter or Space: choose. Esc: close without choosing.

On the tabs

• Phrases: Space pins a new variation of the phrase, or takes the pin off.
• Recent seeds: Enter or Space puts the seed in the box. F marks it as a favorite.
• Song Library: Enter opens the song.
• Archive: Enter plays the file.
